Synapse Realty is a real estate brokerage and investment advisory service operated by Yubedo LLC. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it safe.
2. What we collect
Things you tell us
- Your name, email, and phone number when you fill out a form, book a call, or create an account
- Messages and questions you send us
- Property preferences and investment goals you share during consultations
- Open house attendance info
- Billing address when you make a rent payment
Things we collect automatically
- Your device type and browser
- Your approximate location (from IP address)
- Which pages you visit and how long you stay
- We use Vercel Analytics for anonymous, cookie-free website stats
3. How we use it
- To respond to your questions and provide real estate services
- To schedule meetings, showings, and consultations
- To send you property updates, payment confirmations, and lease reminders
- To process your rent payments (through Stripe)
- To improve our website and tools
- To comply with the law
4. Payment information and Stripe
This is important, so we want to be very clear:
We do NOT store your card numbers, bank account numbers, or full billing address on our servers.
All sensitive payment information is stored and processed by Stripe, Inc., a PCI-compliant payment processor. When you pay rent or save a payment method, that data goes directly to Stripe.
What we DO store: a reference ID to your Stripe account, payment amounts, dates, and status (succeeded, processing, failed). That's it.
Stripe has its own privacy policy that governs how they handle your payment data.
5. Services we use
We use these services to run our business. Each has their own privacy policy:
- Stripe — Payment processing for rent and other transactions
- Vercel — Website hosting and anonymous analytics
- Turso — Database hosting (stores non-sensitive data only)
- Resend — Sends emails on our behalf
- Google Calendar — Meeting scheduling
- Anthropic (Claude) — AI tools for analysis and content (your personal data is not used to train AI models)
- Pexels — Stock photos for blog content
- U.S. Census Bureau — Demographic data for property analysis
We only share the minimum information each service needs to do its job.
6. Emails and texts
We may send you emails and text messages about your transactions, appointments, payments, and lease. You can opt out of marketing messages anytime by clicking unsubscribe or replying STOP. Messages about active payments, leases, and appointments can't be turned off.
7. Cookies
We only use cookies that are needed for the site to work (like keeping you logged in). We don't use advertising cookies or track you across other websites.
8. How long we keep your data
We keep your information as long as we need it to provide our services. If you ask us to delete your data, we will. Deleted contacts are permanently removed after 30 days.
9. How we protect your data
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure database hosting, and role-based access controls. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe's PCI-compliant systems. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
10. Your rights
You can:
- Ask to see what data we have about you
- Ask us to fix incorrect data
- Ask us to delete your data
- Opt out of marketing messages
- Request a copy of your data
Just email us and we'll take care of it within 30 days.
11. Children
Our services are for adults (18+). We don't knowingly collect information from children.
12. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top will change when we do.
